Trends in XM Zero Account Spreads
Spreads are Generally Excellent Even Considering Fees
The XM Zero Account charges a one-way commission of $5 per lot ($10 round trip),
but even with that, the spreads are set lower than the KIWAMI Extreme Account overall, especially for Cross-Yen pairs.
Notably, GBP/JPY, which had a spread of over 2 pips on the KIWAMI Extreme Account (making it almost unusable), is at a much easier-to-trade level here.
However, be aware that the leverage is 500x, which is half that of the Standard or KIWAMI Extreme Accounts.
Also, note that you cannot trade cryptocurrencies.
Gold Spread is Also Excellent. But?
When including transaction fees, the spread is slightly wider than the KIWAMI Extreme Account (average 2 pips),
and the leverage is 500x, half of KIWAMI's 1,000x.
There is no particular merit to trading Gold on the Zero Account,
but if you absolutely want to use the Zero Account, it's usable enough that you don't necessarily need to switch to KIWAMI just for Gold.
